Finally... at last back in the land of the living having almost been slain by the flu! For all who were wondering the conversation between Jonty & his French counterpart never took place. French counterpart was needed in the USA. Sigh... but never mind that it's nearly Christmas!!! Yippee! I found myself excited beyond measure on Monday morning when my organic veg delivery arrived. Nestled in the box was a bag of emerald nuggets, better known as brussel sprouts! Oh the joy. Ok you either love 'em or loathe 'em (a bit like marmite). Boiled gently for 6 minutes smothered in butter, lemon juice and crispy bacon bits or teamed with wonderful fresh chestnuts, or again smothered with butter and sprinkled with chilli flakes. Bliss.
I love the movement of the seasons and the veg that it brings forth!

Sorry to hear that the meeting never took place. Hope Jonty enjoyed his visit to France anyway!
