Slowly Resurfacing

My mind has felt quite foggy since the 6th April, but slowly, very slowly I can feel myself rising back to life. Everyday life has continued as normal, which has somehow felt very unfair. My 36th birthday came and went, Jamie grew another tooth, Lucy celebrated her 8th birthday and got overloaded with presents, Jonty went to work, Lily enjoyed every day as only Lily can... and that is as it should be. As a family we are still waiting for Richard's funeral to take place. The hospital are still doing tests on his body and they may be finished by the end of this month. That will be weird as the grieving and manic action will start all over again. Relatives will be flying in from overseas, there will be flowers to order, transport to organise etc.
On the church front I'm loving my new church home and have been getting involved with Piglets (mums & tots group) at which Lily has made a new friend Eliott. Move over Lewis, Eliott is the new boy in Lily's heart!
